"Thistle Flower" is a prickly flower made of little purple spiny petals and a green bulbous base. I love the combination of the harsh spikes but the pretty flower it produces for more gentle critters like butterflies and bees.

Printed on white thick cotton paper with lovely yellow and tan inks from a hand carved wood block sourced from a sustainable forest in Hokkaido, Japan. Title, artist signature, edition number, and year of production appear on front of each print.
