"Pipevine" is a blue and green butterfly woodblock print inspired by the pipevine swallowtail butterfly. I love the simple decorative spots on this butterfly and it was fun to emphasize and play with pattern on this print. Lower wings have a fade of two foamy greens blended together while the upper wings are a navy blue. Be sure to add this little critter to your office space or kids room!

Printed on white thick cotton paper with inks from a hand carved wood block sourced from a sustainable forest in Hokkaido, Japan. Created with a reduction process with two layers of carving and printing. Can never be made again! Title, artist signature, edition number, and year of production appear on front of each print.
